About Split PDF
Open a PDF and either pull out a page range (e.g. 1-3, 8) into a new file, or burst the whole document into one PDF per page, downloaded together as a ZIP. pdf-lib copies the selected pages losslessly, so the output keeps the original text and vectors. Everything happens locally — useful when the PDF is a bank statement, a contract, or anything you'd rather not upload.

Frequently asked questions
How do I specify which pages to extract?
Type a range like 1-3, 5, 8-10. The tool validates it against the document length and extracts exactly those pages in order.
What does burst mode do?
It creates one PDF per page and packages them into a ZIP you download in one click — handy for splitting a scanned batch.
Is the split lossless?
Yes. Pages are copied with pdf-lib without re-encoding, so text stays selectable and quality is unchanged.
Does the file leave my device?
Never. Splitting runs in your browser; the Network tab stays empty.
